職務内容 ■Position Overview:
We are seeking a Data Architect/Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to developing cloud-based data platforms for autonomous and connected vehicles. This role will be crucial in building a scalable, secure, and efficient data infrastructure that supports the collection, organization, storage, and processing of vehicle data.

■Department Overview:
The department focuses on designing, building, and deploying cloud-based data platforms to handle autonomous and connected vehicle data. The objective is to develop a strategic, cloud-oriented data platform with a team of around 25 engineers.

■About the Project:
Autonomous driving and connected car services represent transformational technologies within the automotive industry, enhancing comfort, safety, and enabling new business models. This platform collects and analyzes vehicle data on a cloud infrastructure, generating business insights and driving software improvements. As a Data Architect, you will be pivotal in developing a core data platform, enabling seamless data interaction. The Data Engineer role will focus on creating the essential infrastructure that facilitates data interaction, ensuring successful cloud-based solutions through design, development, integration, validation, and deployment.

■Responsibilities:
- Design blueprints for cloud and data platforms, covering data flow architecture, end-to-end solutions, component communication, workflows, processes, and validation.
- Convert business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Develop data-driven solutions using machine learning techniques for diverse business use cases.
- Apply AI and ML workflows to big data, working with series, text, geospatial, and image data to identify patterns, develop ML algorithms, and predictive systems.
- Define cloud platform architecture to meet customer requirements and establish policies for design.
- Analyze infrastructure and data sources, implement effective database solutions, ensure compliance, and automate data management processes.
- Perform ETL, data cleaning, validation, and dashboard creation, summarizing insights from data analysis.
- Facilitate cross-functional technical issue resolution, meeting deadlines for quality deliverables.

登録資格 ■Minimum qualifications:
- Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, Data Fabric, and Data Mesh concepts.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud platforms.
- Experience in data management, ETL pipeline design, Kubernetes, and Docker container implementation.

■ Nice to have skills:
- Proficiency in ML modeling, including model selection and fine-tuning using MLflow or cloud services.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python, Scala, or R, with hands-on experience in Apache Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Erwin, Git, and Bash.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, Hadoop HDFS, MapReduce, CI/CD pipeline development, and handling real-time IoT data.
- Familiarity with data governance, quality processes, and cloud-agnostic solution development.
- Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, .NET, Spring Boot, ERC, Dimensional modeling, and Hive.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile development, and testing methodologies.
- Exposure to the automotive industry, with knowledge of connected cars and IoT systems.

Manager/Supervisor classification: Nil (Classifiable depending on the case)
Working hours classification: Deemed working hours system
Category of deemed working hours system: Discretionary labor system for professional work
Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs

■Salary
Annual salary: *will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

■Working hours
9:00 - 18:00
(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)

■Holiday/Leave
Annual paid leave (10 days provided in the first year * Variable depending on joining date), Two days off every week (Sat, Sun), Public holidays, Yearend and new year holidays, Congratulation or condolence leave, and nursing leave.
