■Position Overview:
This role involves overseeing a critical power electronics project focused on inverter design for electric vehicles. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in studying and enhancing existing designs, conducting simulations, and leading technical discussions to ensure the successful execution of the project.
■About the Project:
The project scope includes studying the existing inverter design, identifying necessary improvements, modifying schematics, and executing simulations to verify enhancements.
■Career path:
This project offers the candidate an opportunity to acquire end-to-end experience in Power Electronics Product Development for Electric Vehicles. Achieving expertise in this area may lead to promotion to Electric Vehicle e-Powertrain Program Manager.
■Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate communication between the customer and the offshore team for technical discussions and planning.
2. Analyze customer and system-level requirements for the electric vehicle traction inverter.
3. Define detailed hardware, mechanical, and software requirements for the design and development team working offshore.
4. Conduct PCBA schematic design, power simulations, CAE/CFD, and fault injection testing.
5. Develop design specifications for communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, UART, LIN, SPI, etc.
6. Set up the required test environment using validation tools like Vector CANoe/Canalyzer, PLIN, VT System, dSPACE.
7. Manage tasks for an offshore team of approximately 10 members.

■Minimum qualifications:
- Knowledge of Automotive Electrification-Power Electronics, including inverters, motors, batteries, charging protocols, and CAN communication.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (N2 level or higher).
■ Nice to have skills:
1. Experience in Embedded C, C++ firmware development.
2. Experience with AUTOSAR, software integration, and validation.
3. Hands-on experience with validation tools like Vector CANoe, VT System, and dSPACE.
4. Knowledge of charging protocol standards such as CCS1, CCS2, CHAdeMO, GB/T, Type 1, Type 2.

■Salary
Annual salary: *will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY
Overtime work allowance: By ordinary (Paid according to overtime working hours)

■Working hours
9:00 - 18:00
(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
