About the project:
Multi-program engagement with leading Global Tier1 for end-to-end AD-ADAS System Development.
A multidisciplinary project team to work closely with Tiier1 for Project Management, System Architecture Design, Software Development (Base Software, Middleware & Application Software), AI Integration, System Integration,System Validation,Safety,Security & Process Compliance.
With a strong focus on quality, scalability, and governance, the engagement accelerates development cycles and supports the delivery of safe, intelligent and production & ready ADAS solutions.
About the position:
- Frontline, on-site technical role embedded with a major automotive customer—high autonomy and fast decision loops
- Exposure to the full lifecycle: development builds, integration, launch, early production and field/warranty topics
- Build strong OEM relationships while influencing internal engineering priorities and quality improvements
- Develop deep expertise in customer processes, issue triage, and cross-functional leadership

Job responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site (resident) technical interface between the customer and internal engineering teams for ADAS ECUs/sensors.
Own customer-reported issues end-to-end: reproduce, collect logs/traces, coordinate root cause investigation, and drive closure.
Lead structured problem solving and customer deliverables, including action plans and 8D-style reporting where required.
Support SW/HW updates on-site (flashing/configuration control/version management) and validate fixes via bench/vehicle checks.
Participate in customer program meetings, build events, and design/quality reviews; communicate timing changes, risks, and expectations.
Coordinate engineering change requests (ECR/ECN), implementation timing, and configuration tracking for customer releases.
Provide support during launch/early production, including containment coordination, field return/warranty topic follow-up, and escalation management.
Maintain issue dashboards and concise status reporting; align priorities across global teams and ensure timely responses to customer needs.
Build strong working relationships with customer engineering/manufacturing/quality teams and ensure clear bilingual communication.

【Required skills】
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automotive/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical or related).
5+ years of experience in ADAS/ECU engineering, integration, or validation with direct customer/OEM interface exposure.
Ability to diagnose system-level issues using logs, traces, and diagnostics (CAN/UDS/DoIP) and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
Fluent Japanese and English communication for meetings, negotiations, and documentation in an on-site customer environment.
【Language】
Japanese/English Bilingual
(Advance business level is a must requirement)
English for communication with offshore team and Japanese for communication with customers.
