◆Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead digital transformation initiatives for manufacturing customers by designing and delivering next-generation PLM solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their business and engineering processes, define future-state system architecture, and drive implementation using Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Mendix low-code platform. This is a client-facing, architecture-led role with strong exposure to both Japan-based and global delivery teams.
◆About the Project
The project focuses on modernizing legacy engineering and cost management systems by migrating them to a next-generation PLM platform.
Key characteristics of the project include:
・Replacement of legacy systems with Teamcenter-based PLM solutions
・Significant use of Mendix for customer-specific customization and integration
・Collaboration with global delivery teams while working closely with Japanese customers
・Emphasis on minimal customization, scalable architecture, and long-term maintainability
◆Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the overall technical and functional design of the solution.
Key responsibilities include:
・Leading requirement discussions with customers and translating business needs into technical solutions
・Defining To-Be architecture, system landscape, and data models for PLM solutions
・Designing and reviewing High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
・Driving Proof of Concept (PoC) activities and presenting solutions to customers
・Providing architectural guidance for Teamcenter and Mendix customization and integration
・Working closely with Japan and global teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery
・Managing technical risks, change requests, and design decisions throughout the project lifecycle
◆Why This Role Is Attractive
Opportunity to play a key architectural role in large-scale digital transformation programs
Strong exposure to both Japan-based customers and global engineering teams
Hands-on involvement in modern PLM and low-code technologies
Ability to influence customer DX roadmaps rather than only executing predefined requirements
Clear long-term career growth within architecture and consulting tracks
◆Career Path
This role offers a clear growth path aligned with architecture and consulting careers:
Solution Architect → Senior Solution Architect → Enterprise Architect / Business Consultant
You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, industries, and global delivery models while building deep domain and consulting expertise.
