Department introduction: This is a large, long&;term, stable account relationship for a large global non-life insurer operating in Japan where teams work on business; critical insurance systems across Auto, Property, Travel, Claims, and Commercial lines.
You’ll be part of large transformation and modernization programs, not just maintenance&;covering digital platforms, core insurance systems, data, integration, and regulatory initiatives.
The account offers strong domain exposure, modern technology, and direct interaction with Japanese and global stakeholders.

Project introduction: TCS provides application maintenance and support services for 200+ applications for Generate Insurance customer.
・ 200+ resources are currently engaged from offshore and onsite locations for delivering the business projects and Japan Transformation programs.
Position highlights: ・ Will enrich one industry experience by working with one of the large General Insurance customers with 200+ diversified application.
・ Managing larger team operating from local and Global locations
・ Can understand more on the services offered by TCS in Application development portfolio and Infrastructure support
・ Will have opportunity to get involved in IT modernization programs and also gain experience in application portfolio rationalization

・Enhance ones skills by involving in finding solutions for the customer problems and get experience in leveraging tools and accelerators
・Experience in working with Global TCS talents and TCS Centre Of Excellence team on specific needs and TCS offerings and Solutions
Job responsibility: 1. To participate in meeting with customer on General Insurance systems especially Finance and Operations related aspects
2. To discuss with TCS associates and partner members regarding the applications that spread across core insurance domains including accounting, commissions, and collections
3. To govern the SDLC in system development primarily in Mainframe applications IBM z/OS and COBOL environments.
4. To manage teams of up to 20 members, including offshore resources
5. To participate in feasibility study analysis along with customer and finalizing the solution approach in implementing the
changes in IT system.

1.Vast IT experience working with Japanese customer and collaborating with business on requirement definition and converting business to IT system requirements
2. Need to have deep understanding about Finance and Operations of General Insurance value chain process
3. To work across multiple projects in meeting customer objectives
4. Willingness to train TCS onsite and offshore members
