Connected Car engineer
■Role descriptions / Expectations for the Role
This is a fresh requirement from the customer to support in development and validation for their Connected Car Services project.
-Participate in requirement analysis, proposal planning, scheduling, design, development and deployment phases for Connected cars project.
-Coordinate with customer for QA resolutions, testing etc.
-Coordinate with offshore team for script updates, test run cycles and defect resolution.
-Coordinate delivery submissions, feedback etc.
This position offers a opportunity to work closely with automotive Tier-1 customer and offers an opportunity to build knowledge base and hands-on experience in Connected Cars domain.
Present scope of work will allow candidate to showcase his technical capability and communication skills. With good client connect and business expansion, candidate can enhance his role to Technical architect and later to Onsite Project Manager.
■ Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
1. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols
2. Understanding of vehicle electronics & Connected Car Services
3. Experience using Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer)5. Experience in ECU validation and vehicle testing
4. Good Japanese-English bilingual communication skills
Manager/Supervisor classification: Nil (Classifiable depending on the case)
Working hours classification: Deemed working hours system
Category of deemed working hours system: Discretionary labor system for professional work
Deemed working hours per day: 8hrs
Monthly salary: 270,000 JPY - 620,000 JPY: * Under our corporate regulations, amount will be decided in consideration of candidates’ experiences and abilities.
Discretionary labor allowance: 60,000 JPY - 80,000 JPY (depending on grades)
Overtime work allowance: depending in grades
Salary raise: Yes
9:00 - 18:00
(Actual working hrs: 8hrs /Flex time system/ Core time: 10:00 - 16:00)
Annual paid leave (10 days provided in the first year * Variable depending on joining date), Two days off every week (Sat, Sun), Public holidays, Yearend and new year holidays, Congratulation or condolence leave, and nursing leave.
